Frequently asked Questions:

Where should I park?

There is free parking in our lot.

Which door do I go to?

Please enter through side door with the long ramp. When you come up the ramp there is a phone directory on the right. Please select suite #9 for Beautify Aesthetics to unlock the door.

Do I need to fill out paperwork?

We do require that your medical history and consent forms are filled out. It is always best to try and fill them out ahead of time online. An email/text link will be sent to you a week prior to your appointment. If you cannot fill them out online/text, then please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment.

What if I am running late?

We always do our best to try and accommodate. If you are running late, it may interfere with the treatment you had planned, and therefore we may need to reschedule. In some events, we may be able to complete some of the treatment plans. Please always call us so we can best accommodate you. Please also note our late policy is more than 15 minutes and the $100 fee associated with this policy as we cannot book another client in your slot with short notice.

What if I am on antibiotics or antivirals?

We recommend waiting until you are healed and completed any antibiotic/antiviral treatments. If your body is under stress trying to heal, this could delay your healing with injectables.

What if I have allergies?

Please include any allergies you have in your health history. Examples are latex and/or lidocaine.

What if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?

Injectable services are not permitted during pregnancy and/or breastfeeding. There are certain skincare services that are allowed during pregnancy/breastfeeding. We always recommend you consult with your OBGYN prior to any treatment or services.

Is there a charge for deposit?

In order to book a new patient consultation, we do require a card on file. There is a charge of $100 if you cancel within the 24-hour window of your appointment or do not show for your appointment. There is also a charge if you are more than 15 minutes late and you must be rescheduled.

It is advised that you fill out your prebooking forms online and arrive 10 minute prior to your appointment. If you receive treatment that day, then there is no charge.

Do injections hurt?

It depends. Everyone’s pain tolerance is different. Overall, the general consensus is that injectables are very well tolerated with minimal discomfort. If a patient does have a low pain tolerance, then there are options such as lidocaine topical or nerve blocks.

What are side effects of neurotoxins?

Typically a dull headache is the most common. This is benign and usually resolves with Tylenol. Rarely, ptosis can occur in some cases. In this case, follow-up with your medical provider would be required to manage this complication.

What is the down time with injectables?

We do recommend that any injectable services are completed at least 2 weeks before any major events. This allows plenty of time for healing and swelling to resolve. Typically with injectables, it takes 2 weeks to settle and bruising to resolve. With dermal fillers, you may experience facial swelling for 2-3 days, this is usually minimal, and patients often feel they can go about their day. Bruising will typically take 7-10 days to resolve.

Will I bruise?

It is impossible for us to be able to predict a bruise or not. Everyone is different and various factors can affect bruising potential such as vitamins, hydration status, tobacco/alcohol use, NSAID use, medications, and exercise. It is best to read the pre-care instructions on how to prevent bruising.

How can I prevent bruising?

Avoid alcohol 48 hours before your appointment, avoid NSAIDs a week prior to your appointment, start Arnica tablets 1 week before your appointment, avoid exercise and caffeine 24 hours prior to your appointment, and stop fish oil/vitamin D supplements a week before your appointment.
